The requirement profiles for REO braking resistors are as diverse as our customers themselves. Our braking resistors often have to be used in the immediate vicinity of other, sometimes temperature-sensitive components or generally installed in confined and poorly ventilated areas. For these cases, REO offers series that, through the filling of heat transfer media, offer better heat dissipation and better pulse loading compared to air-cooled products. In addition to optimal temperature management, operational safety is a high priority for compact installation. Therefore, our braking resistors are short-circuit proof, self-extinguishing and overload-proof under short-term loads.
