We congratulate our colleagues on the 30th anniversary of the REO branch in Kyritz. The establishment of the branch in 1991 marked a new chapter in REO’s history. In the buildings of the former EAB, REO Kyritz began producing toroidal Resistors. Starting with just a handful of employees, the team always showed dedication and a strong connection to the site. Today, the Kyritz location, with over 90 employees, is a vital component within the REO family. For instance, it manufactures components for wind turbines and water-cooled Resistors for e-mobility. The future-oriented approach is also evident right next to the main building, where a dedicated wind turbine generates sufficient energy for the on-site e-charging stations.
Jennifer Baatz, Site Manager REO Kyritz, summarizes: “It has been 30 years since an idea became reality and we started production at this special location. We have always kept up with the times and have been able to set important impulses in production quality, from robotics to vertical winding. .” Baatz adds with a smile: “After 30 years, we have not only been able to expand our workforce to over 90 employees, but also to win one or two fish in the company’s own pond.”
We wish REO Kyritz all the best for the next 30 years!
