Frequency Converter REOVIB MFS 368

IP54 or IP20 FREQUENCY CONVERTER REOVIB MFS 368 More technology in the same design – that’s the motto of the new REOVIB MFS 368. The new devices consume up to 45% less power, which not only results in a better energy balance, but also lowers operating costs. This is achieved by compensating for reactive power. The lower energy consumption has a positive impact on the environment by reducing CO₂ emissions. Additionally, the frequency converters for vibratory feeder technology feature a wide input voltage range of 99 V to 264 V, while maintaining a constant output voltage of max. 205 V. They also enable the vibratory feeder to operate at an optimal vibration frequency for the conveyed material, making it entirely independent of the mains power supply frequency. This allows the device to be used worldwide. Where previously multiple different feeders or magnets were required, a single REOVIB MFS 368 is now sufficient. In addition, it is possible to automatically determine the resonance frequency of the vibratory system and to implement control of the vibration amplitude to constant values using the ACC control method developed by REO. The advantage here is that the feeder automatically operates with optimum conveying performance regardless of the load or mechanical setting. This eliminates the need for complex adjustments to the feeder. With the new REOVIB MFS 368, you also always get optimum and maximum feeder performance, e.g. when the springs age, the mechanical load changes, or the voltage fluctuates. The new converter has an integrated active mains filter, which saves additional costs for an external mains filter and reduces the power consumption, as well as an LCD display with plain text display. A temperature sensor for magnets can optionally be connected, which ensures that there are no failures due to defective magnets. This increases the operational reliability of the systems. The devices can optionally be equipped with fieldbus interfaces and are optionally available as versions with UL/CSA certification. This enables uncomplicated use without effort and tests in systems in the USA and Canada. The devices in the REOVIB MFS 368 series are available with a max. output current of 3 A, 6 A, 8 A and as IP20 control cabinet installation versions as well as IP54 housing versions. The IP54 housings can be supplied with various connection options: Input cable/output cable Input cable/output socket Completely pluggable with input connector, output socket and sensor and actuator connectors Benefits Reduction of harmonics and thus of mains feedback Improved energy efficiency through reactive power compensation Active power is drawn from the supply network Output voltage 205 V with an input voltage range of 99 V to 264 V LCD display and plain text menu control Short circuit detection Output current limitation Optional connection for thermal contact for magnet temperature monitoring Additional 24 V valve output as an option Replaceable fieldbus interface The communication interface can be configured according to your needs Die Produkt-Highlights im Video Informieren Sie sich im aktuellen Produkt-Video über die innovativen Funktionen und die hohe Leistungsfähigkeit des MFS 368. 3-Phase Power Controller REOTRON MDW 700

3-phase thyristor power controller Description REOTRON MDW Power Controllers are used in industrial process engineering and especially in thermal systems. The thyristor controllers are available as phase angle controllers and with burst firing control and have internal voltage, current, and power controllers – so the output power remains stable even under high demands. The devices can operate both directly on the load to be controlled (e.g. in infrared heaters) and as primary controllers of Transformers for voltage adjustment and safe isolation (e.g. in graphite heating elements). Thyristor controllers of the REOTRON MDW series (3 controlled phases) are modern microprocessor-controlled devices with integrated measuring devices for the actual values of voltage and current transformers. Outputs (actual value monitor) with 0…+10V, DC are available for processing the actual values in external system components. Communication with the devices can take place via analog interfaces 0… +10 V, DC, 0(4)… 20 mA, potentiometers or field bus systems Profibus-DP, CAN bus, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet and EtherCAT, thus enabling integration into existing bus systems. The devices can be adapted to the respective load conditions via internally adjustable parameters Umax, Imax, Pmax as well as ramp-up ramp and ramp-down ramp. The REOTRON MDW 700 thyristor controllers are designed as switch cabinet installation devices with protection class IP 20 for mounting on a mounting plate. The cooling type is air cooling, fans are integrated from 150 A. The devices in the REOTRON MDW-WK series are designed for water cooling and can be easily integrated into an existing water circuit.
