Direct-imaging current transformer (Open-Loop Converter)
The WDI current sensor is a direct-imaging current transformer designed for measuring DC and AC currents. The primary current flow generates a magnetic flux, which is evaluated in the air gap by means of a magnetic circuit and Hall sensor. An electronic circuit processes the signal from the Hall sensor and outputs an exact image of the primary current with a voltage at the output.
